About Me

I’m a medical writer and content creator. I finished my Pharm D ( Doctor of Pharmacy) from Dayananda Sagar University, India, and then pursued an Msc in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Glasgow, UK. After graduation, I gained experience as a Medical Writer at Klarity, UK. As a Medical Writer, I gained hands-on experience writing SEO optimised health content for diverse audiences. I was able to sharpen my scientific writing and literature review skills. I was able to develop leadership skills as I mentored many interns and guided them throughout their internships.
From a young age, I always loved writing. I started writing journals and book reviews, and from here, I was always drawn to writing. At this point in my life, I had no idea I could make a career as a writer. I thought writing could only be a hobby, so I never pursued journalism. My parents always wanted me to be a doctor, so I went on to take a medical degree. I came to know about the Medical Writer career when I was still studying Pharm-D. I thought to myself, this can be the closest thing to writing I can do after this degree. I never had any interest in working in hospitals, so I spent time researching medical writing, and I thought to myself, this is something I can do. So after Pharm-D, I wanted to pursue a Master’s abroad. I mainly wanted to study abroad because I wanted to experience a world beyond India. I have never been abroad before; coming to the UK for my studies was my first time being abroad. I came to the UK for my Master’s, and after graduation, I gained experience as a freelance Medical Writer at Klarity. My experience at Klarity polished my scientific writing skills. I learned how to turn complex scientific information into simple terms, so everyone can easily understand my information. I even developed how to make articles SEO optimised.
